ElevArte seeks one or all of the following: a Chicago fan, golf aficionado with an affinity for Cubs and Wrigley Field mementos, and/or a deep appreciation for community serving arts organizations.
Where would you put this one-of-a kind furniture piece? These chairs were once a part of Wrigley Field, until they were transported to ElevArte's art studio at Dvorak Park in Pilsen.
They were painted by ElevArte Mentor + Mentee, Chris and Adriel. Regarding his experience of working on the chairs with Adriel, Chris said, " The week of production accelerated our mentorship and friendship, as we were spending everyday together collaborating on the piece. It quickly became apparent that we have a lot in common."
The chairs commemorate a moment in Wrigley Park History: The time golfer Sam Snead hit the scoreboard. Earlier this summer it was one of 100 chairs to reside on Michigan Avenue, outside the Wrigley Building where millions of people enjoyed it.
Bid on these chairs and take it home--proceeds benefit ElevArte Community Studio and Cubs Charities. Bidding starts at $750. Ready? BID HERE.
