Young and Emerging Artists Opportunity

Can we say it's been a hot minute since we last spoke? Well, I hope I can make it up to you with something that just flew across my desk. The International House of Blues Foundation has an exhibition opportunity for young and emerging artists to exhibit their original works. This Spring, the International House of Blues Foundation invites 9th through 12th grade students to participate in Drawing Us Together, a visual arts exhibit and competition. Students will create original artworks inspired by this year's theme: The Arts Inspire Hope. Winners receive gift certificates for art supplies. Exhibits will take place at House of Blues venues and online at

Registration and submission details/forms, artwork guidelines, and official rules can be found at: Below is the flyer for the event but definitely visit their website for more information. Deadline is April 5th, 2012 so don't waste any time!
