Elevarte maintains a computer lab for use by its program participants and drop in adults and youth. Our youth computer lab consists of high tech desktops and laptops with access to the Internet and a complete digital design suite to enhance hands-on learning of photo and video production and editing, animation, illustration and graphic design. Along with our extensive varitey of software, our lab also offers the use of camera, video, and sound equipment. Our lab has served as a recource to partnering organizations and schools. Our art studio hosts a variety of workshops and classes from Ideas en Arcilla: Community Clay Studio, to the fiber arts program Tejer y Program and serves as the summer headquarters for the youth management team that produces the We Are Hip Hop Youth Festival. It features an array of inter-disciplinary equipment including a clay wheel, a kiln, a photography light kit, sewing machines and silk-screen materials.
