ElevArte offers paid opportunities to teens via After School Matters (ASM) programs. These apprenticeships are a chance for teens to learn a new skill and meet youth from all over the city, while preparing for college and careers. Any questions? Call 312-226-7767.

Walls of Hope: Brighton Park Mural Project

Walls of Hope is a mural project in Brighton Park that transforms community spaces with teen inspired art work. Learn about the history of street art (it's more than graffiti) and the mural tradition. Teens will develop drawing, painting, lettering and aerosol techniques.

Sew Stitchy

Sew Stitchy is a fiber-arts program where teens learn and practice traditional and contemporary forms as a means to explore cultural identity, labor and social issues. Teens learn about marketing, merchandising, self-promotion skills and business plans, which will prepare them to sell their goods in the future. Teens will delve into sewing, knitting, crocheting and the handmade/DIY world.
