My mother, who knits and crochets

by Jazmin Martinez [slideshow]

I always remember my mom crocheting . When she finished doing everything a mom had to do, she would do swatches to make a blanket. That blanket took her a year to make because she didn't always have time for it. When I had to interview someone for my project I didn't know who to pick , but then I thought, MY MOM! She knows how to knit and crochet. I never asked her how she learned  so I thought this was the time to ask her, and this is what I found out...

Q: What is your name mom?

A: My name is Claudia Martinez

A: Yes I know how to do both.

Q: Who taught you how to crochet and knit.

A: My Aunt Lupe taught me when I was around twenty years old.

Q: Why do you do it?

A: I enjoy knitting and crocheting because it’s like a  hobby for me, it also entertains me a lot.
